300 Inch Cactus Buck from Oregon
Monday, December 14th, 2009There was a monster cactus mule deer taken recently in Oregon. This buck was taken with a muzzleloader. I just talked with a family member (his father) about the buck. They are waiting to get it SCI scored. Since it is in the velvet and also a cactus buck, Boone & Crockett will not accept it. Early score estimations have been 301 to 307 SCI. It has huge bases with a lot of junk and some drop tines, but the main frame is mostly a 2 point frame. Typical of big cactus bucks - horrible frame, but lots of points and drops.
