Back after a long day at Lagoon Park in Farmington, Utah

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Whew! We spent the last 8 hours at the Lagoon Theme Park, but had a great time. Nate-Dawg finally conquered his roller-coaster fears and rode everything the park had to offer (more than once). He was "the man" today. Very cool!

Mrs T and I got the front set on the Colossus roller coaster so I thought I'd get it on video (below). Nate-Dawg and CDizzle are in the seat behind us.

The thrill ride of the day was the "Wicked" roller coaster (shown in video below). We all really enjoyed being launched straight up vertical, over the top, and then dropped straight down. It was an awesome ride. We each went on it at least twice.

Where's the coffee!! At one point Mrs T and I really needed a cup of coffee to get us through the afternoon. We had to hunt high and low throughout the park. We only found one place where we could get a cup of joe. It hit the spot...powder creamer and all. We were missing our Starbucks french roast that's for sure.

We ultimately had enough of the roller coasters and were getting headaches from being tossed around. So we came back to veg out for the rest of the night. Overall though, we really enjoyed the park. We had read that it was an old park. It turned out that there were several newer rides like Wicked and the Spyder that we really enjoyed. It also has a water park that we did not check out because we had already done 3 water parks during this trip. I would definately recommend this park for the kids if you're passing through.

So we're off to Mountain Home, Idaho tomorrow morning.
